Issue/Introduction

You get a "License Expired" error or "Your subscription for this application has expired" error message.

When launching a Wise Product you get the following errors:

These messages are normal if you are on a month to month subscription plan and did not get an updated license, or are on a perpetual fallback license and are running a version older then your license allows.

Resolution

Normally if on a monthly subscription plan, the license gets updated when Wise License Service updates your licenses. If for some reason you were offline, or did not pay your monthly subscription, your license wont update in this window. If you paid, or are now online, you can trigger an update the following way.

  1. Open Wise License Manager (Some applications may use its own shortcut, make sure you launch the correct license manager)
  2. On the Wise License Manager window, click Update

  3. Attempt to relaunch the application, if you continue to have errors, contact Wise Global Solutions. Have your Activation Key you are using for this product.

If you are getting the subscription for this application has expired message, you need to downgrade your installed application to a version before the SMP expired. The application does mention what day that is to better help you downgrade. This is normal for perpetual fallback licenses.
